Navy OCS Division Officer (DIVO) Practice Test

INDOPACOM’s area of responsibility covers the Western Pacific and the Indian Ocean. The fleets that operate in that region are the one based in Yokosuka, Japan, which conducts operations across the Western Pacific and Indian Ocean, and the fleet headquartered on the U.S. West Coast (San Diego), which handles Pacific-area operations. The other fleets serve different combatant commands—Atlantic, Europe/Africa, Caribbean/South Atlantic, and the Middle East—so they don’t operate in INDOPACOM’s AOR. Therefore, the fleets that operate in INDOPACOM are the Yokosuka-based fleet and the West Coast Pacific fleet.
